Cyber Security
Federal agencies and our nation’s critical infrastructures such as energy, transportation systems, communications, and financial services are dependent on IT systems and electronic data to carry out operations and to process, maintain, and report essential information. The security of these systems and data is vital to public confidence and national security, prosperity, and well-being.
Because many of these systems contain vast amounts of personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive information, agencies must protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of this information. In addition, they must effectively respond to data breaches and security incidents when they occur.
The risks to IT systems supporting the federal government and the nation’s critical infrastructure are increasing, including insider threats from witting or unwitting employees, escalating and emerging threats from around the globe, and the emergence of new and more destructive attacks.
Unique Experience
Delivered FISMA compliant engineering and risk management services to the government to address GAO audit findings.
Supporting and securing artificial intelligence modernization systems by providing architecture and engineering, as well as a security assessment of the new system designs.
Provided assessment and risk analysis support using artificial intelligence for the High Value Assets (HVAs) and externally facing systems as part of continuous monitoring and the SA&A process.
Provided database security design and automated assessment support including risk and vulnerability analysis, identifying critical risks and mitigation plans for our current client’s most sensitive databases.
Implemented vulnerability surge campaign that addressed high, medium and low vulnerabilities in the environment.
Decreased the number of highs and mediums during a three-month cycle 40%.
How AGNB plans to improve the nation's security
AGNB’s methodology for operating and maintaining an information technology architecture is influenced by providing efficiencies and flexibility to the organization and user. The use of the information architecture can all serve as a means for AGNB to cut down on the time it needs to react. While other organizations can plan for the changes they want to create, external factors and influences can hasten the time an organization has to respond. AGNB curated a custom approach “EAIR PDRO” (Ensure, Assure, Insure, Reassure – Proactive, Direct, Reactive and Oversight), a threat detection management stystem used for data security, network operation and architecture. The EAIR PDRO system is implemented to analyze, organize , collect, infuse modernization in a secure envirnment, with integrity, accessible and an maintainable architecture design. Using this method of engaging the network infrasturcture and the data security at a granular level allows for AGNB to become better equipped as an organization handling data and its network infrastructure.
Ensure – Various governance controls associated with the creation of standards and guidelines.
Assure – Governance controls associated with the creation of data values.
Insure – Governance controls required to sustain governance for an WAN/LAN network operational mode.
Reassure – Governance controls to provide the continuity and transparency to demonstrate that the use of the architecture is functioning as intended and fairly.
